1) How
does OneSpaceTM ASAP differ from
collaborative software currently
available?
OneSpaceTM ASAP differs
from other collaborative software as it allows
co-modeling, co-markup, and co-inspection of CAD Models
in 3D. These uploaded CAD Models can be changed on-line
and viewed by all participants.
2) What
do I need to do to see a product
demonstration?
We can arrange for on-line session
for your to view your OneSpaceTM ASAP in
action. Contact us at design.solutions@gep.ge.com to
find out more.
3) What
do I need to run the client side of the
software?
We recommended that you have 256 MB
of memory, at least 200 MB of hard disk space and you
have 8MB of video memory and support
OpenGL.
4) Can we use the software for
other design issues other than parts intended for
plastic injection
molding?
Yes, OneSpaceTM ASAP can
be used for all your design requirements, for more

5) How does the support and
training work?
When you subscribe to the
OneSpaceTM ASAP offering, we provide
installation support of the client software, a one hour
orientation to the OneSpace software, and offer the
option to have a OneSpace expert assist you as a
collaboration expert during your
sessions.
6) Who can participate in a
design session?
With the session manager included in
OneSpaceTM ASAP, you may invite as many
participants to the session as you wish and control the
roles in which they can participate. By defining roles
for each participant for each meeting, you can be
assured that only certain participants may be empowered
with loading, changing or saving
models.
7) Do I need to have the CAD
software loaded on my local machine to
view?
OneSpaceTM ASAP provides
you with plug-ins for the most popular CAD packages so
you do not need any specific native CAD application.
OneSpaceTM ASAP also provides many other
plug-ins for 2D design
documents.
